Storyboard Delights was one of the first businesses to become Safe Zone certified with RAINS.

But unfortunately as they are under new management they hate has creeped in. We have received reports from community members and the previous owners that the new owners are not inclusive in anyway. One of the first things they did was pull down our Safe Zone Sticker and toss it. They still owe us for that they did not own it.

Community Report Card: Mostly Negative

Community Reports

  1. The signage in their windows and inside their shop showing that they are supportive of the LGBTQ+ community have all been removed.
  2. They have severed ties with us and thrown our Safe Zone Cling away and ignoring us holding the accountable.
  3. Many community members have reported the change in how they are treated.

RAINS Member Reports

  1. RAINS has collaborated with Storyboard Delights for different events including Rainbow Prom and Queersgiving.
  2. Storyboard Delights has done many fundraisers for local nonprofits including RAINS.
  3. They created a Rainbow chocolate bar and in the past that some of its proceeds went to RAINS.
  4. Anytime someone from RAINS goes into Storyboard Delights they have been greeted warmly and treated well.
  5. Many of the RAINS Team Members have purchased goods from here and felt included and safe.
  6. RAINS will no longer collaborate with this company. We will however collaborate with Eric and Julisa, the previous owners, and time.

RAINS Investigations

There has been no call for an investigation.
